With a standard USB connector and a CAN/LIN channel with a 9-pin D-SUB connector, this high-speed

interface can connect a PC to CAN, CAN FD or LIN.

Quick and easy plug-and-play installation.
Supports CAN bit rate from 50 kbit/s to 1 Mbit/s.
Supports CAN FD up to 5 Mbit/s (with proper phisical layer implementation)
Supports LIN 1.3 - 2.2 bit rate from 1 kbit/s to 20 kbit/s.
Supports both 11-bit (CAN 2.0A) and 29-bit (CAN 2.0B active) identifiers.
Power is taken from the USB bus. It is necessary apply a reference voltage to the LIN reference power pin when running in LIN mode.
Galvanic isolation.
Supports both LIN master and LIN slave mode.
Fully compatible with J1939, CANopen, NMEA 2000 and DeviceNet.
Support for SocketCAN.

Kvaser CANLIB SDK is a free resource that includes everything you need to develop software for the Kvaser CAN interfaces. Includes full documentation and many program samples, written in C, C++, C#, Delphi, and Visual Basic.
All Kvaser CAN interface boards share a common software API. Programs written for one interface type will run without modifications on the other interface types!
